TRAVEL AWARDS FOR TRAINEES AND FELLOWS:
In order to promote the interest of young scientists in the field of inherited metabolic disorders, we offer a reduced registration fee for trainees and fellows.
In addition, we will offer 16 Travel Awards ($750 each) to trainees, fellows, and junior faculty which will be available on a competitive basis. The abstracts are to be submitted electronically (See instructions for abstract submission-- When you are entering the abstract, select the radio button for Travel Award.)
These will then be judged by a committee from the Board of Directors. Winners of Travel Awards will be notified by December 1, 2009 and will be selected for oral presentation (generally 10 min, with 5 min discussion), or poster display. Individuals who wish to compete for these awards must submit an abstract together with a letter from a sponsor which should be sent to Leslie Lublink via email (lublinkl@ohsu.edu) or fax (503-210-1511) when the abstract is submitted.
