SIMD-Ucyclyd Fellowship Grant:  The SIMD is pleased to announce that there is an opportunity to support another fellow in the SIMD/Ucyclyd Fellowship in Biochemical Genetics. Since one of our currently funded fellows, Dr. Brendan Lanpher, will be making the transition to faculty at Baylor College of Medicine, we can now arrange for support of one trainee to be selected each year. The SIMD, with financial support from Ucyclyd Pharma, will provide  $50,000/year to support each trainee's research for two years.

Please note: the time-line is very short this cycle.  Applications are due by May 15, 2007, and the decision will be announced by June 5, 2007 for funding to start July 1, 2007.
Please refer here for instructions and application materials.
