Hotel reservations are the responsibility of the individual registrant.
We have made arrangements at the Hotel Albuquerque (the venue for the meeting) and at the nearby Best Western Rio Grande Inn.

Hotel Abuquerque:
We are holding a block of rooms for March 27th to March 31st at the rate of $159 (not including tax) for single or double. Children 17 and under stay in the room at no charge. We DO encourage sharing with a roommate whenever possible. These rates are good 3 days prior to and 3 days following our meeting. Please book your room early to ensure lodging. Rooms will be available at this rate until February 24, 2010. After that time, reservations will be accepted on a space and rate available basis.

For those attending the ACMG/SIMD joint session: We do have a small block of rooms held for Saturday, March 27th at Hotel Albuquerque. If you are attending both the ACMG and SIMD Meetings you may want to transfer to Hotel Albuquerque on Sunday, March 28th.

An online booking code has been established for the 2010 SIMD Annual Meeting.
Here are instructions for guests to easily book their rooms over the web:
  1. go to http://www.HotelABQ.com
  2. make sure that Hotel Albuquerque is the selected hotel from the list of hotels
  3. enter your arrival date
  4. enter the number of nights you wish to stay (as well as the number of adults/children)
  5. in the RATE CODE (not promo code) box enter GRPD88
  6. click check availability
  7. a new window should pop up showing the group room rate and room type(s) available to book
Guests may also call the hotel and book their reservations by calling +1-(505) 843-6300 or the toll free number (800) 237-2133 and asking to be connected to reservations. As long as they identify themselves as a part of the SIMD group the reservationists will place them within the assigned block of rooms. The hotel will ask for your credit card to guarantee the reservation. You will pay at check-out. Hotel check-in is 3:00 PM and check-out is 12 noon.

PLEASE NOTE: If you work for the US Government you cannot make your reservation online. Please call Michelle Resetar at 505-222-8701 to discuss a government rate. This is only available to US Government employees.

There is a 24 hours Cancellation Policy. If you do not cancel within 24 hours of your arrival your credit card will be charged for 1 night.
