Our eGNA team has expanded case-based learning using Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) https://echo.unm.edu/, an all-teach-all-learn collaborative model to enhance medical education and care management. We have launched a case-based virtual learning program to telementor genetic metabolic clinicians. Our first cohort completed the genetic nutrition traineeship program in September-December 2020, and we have filled all spots for our second cohort in February-April 2021. See below to learn how you can participate in future traineeships!
