ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

Abstracts for the meeting are to be submitted electronically. A web-based system is in place to let you enter the authors, and affiliations, and then enter or paste the title and body of your abstract directly from a Microsoft Word douemnt, formatted HTML or RTF document. We recommend that you write your abstract in a Microsoft Word document or other similar format and then upload into our software. Simply follow the link to On-Line Abstract Submission from the Abstracts Information page or proceed directly.

This system allows you to continually review and edit your own abstract(s) up until the deadline (note the deadline for applicants for Travel Awards is earlier). You must lock your abstract by the deadline, so we know it is ready to submit. If you have changes before the deadline you can return, unlock it with a single button click, and make your edits-- but REMEBER TO LOCK THE ABSTRACT so it will be submitted at the time of the deadline.

Note: The final formatted abstract is not emailed to you automatically, but you can confirm the upload by choosing "Print Abstract" in the abstract editor, and print a hardcopy or save in PDF format (print to PDF pseudo-printer). We reserve the right to slightly modify the format to meet time constraints or to assure consistency of font style.

Details about the format of the abstract (as well as a template for Microsoft Word) are posted here. Please do not submit a hardcopy of the abstract. However, you must fill out the license agreement for the journal Molecular Genetics and Metabolism which should be mailed, scanned/emailed or faxed to Leslie Lublink. ABSTRACTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT THE LICENSE AGREEMENT FORM. Abstracts submitted for poster presentation will be accepted, subject to review by the program committee for appropriateness of content. You will NOT have the option of presenting an oral presentation instead of poster unless you have received a Travel Award, or by invitation.
